Native Range:
Veitch’s fir is native to Japan, particularly found in the central and northern parts of Honshu and on Shikoku. It grows at high altitudes, typically between 1300 and 2800 meters (4265-9186 feet).
Cultivation:
This fir species prefers cool, moist climates and well-drained soils. It thrives in full sun to partial shade.
