Aconite

Aconite, also known as wolfsbane or monkshood. It is a genus of flowering plants in the buttercup family. It has hooded purple or blue flowers and is highly poisonous. The name Aconite comes from the Greek word for “dart” or “arrow”, as it was used to poison arrows in ancient times. Some people believe that Aconite has magical and medicinal properties, but it should be handled with extreme caution.
