An African lily, also known as Agapanthus, is a flowering plant native to southern Africa. It has long, strap-like leaves and clusters of blue or white flowers that resemble lilies. The name Agapanthus comes from the Greek words for “love” and “flower”. Some people believe that the African lily symbolizes love, friendship, and loyalty.
